We are continuing our efforts to provide lunch for hundreds of front-line hospital workers who battle the COVID-19 pandemic each and every day.

“Front-line hospital workers have been put under incredible stress by the pandemic,” said Lee Auto Malls Chairman Adam Lee. “We’re trying to let them know they haven’t been forgotten and how much their work is appreciated."

Working with local area restaurants, we will provide lunch at five Maine hospitals on Friday, February 19, 2021: Northern Light Mercy Primary Care in Windham, Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Central Maine Medical Center in Portland, Rumford Hospital, and Stephens Hospital in Norway.
Local restaurants that will be providing lunches include Ott's Pizzeria in Windham, Sam's Italian Foods, Hero's Sports Grill in Bangor, and Amato's.

January, we began purchasing lunch for hundreds of hospital workers at Maine Medical Center, St. Joseph’s in Bangor, St. Mary’s in Lewiston, and Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. To date, we have provided over 2,000 lunches to hospital workers.

This effort is part of our year-long campaign to improve the lives of Mainers during the pandemic. We have committed more than $100,000 to this effort.

“The past year has been tough on so many of our customers and neighbors,” Lee said. “We decided this is a time where we want to help the communities that have always supported us. It’s good for the health care workers and it's good for local restaurants.”
