As hospitalizations due to COVID-19 surged across the country and in Maine, our healthcare workers have been overwhelmed and under stress. Lee Auto Malls is continuing its support of these incredible individuals.

This October, working with local area restaurants, Lee Auto Malls will be providing lunches at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Rumford Hospital, Bridgton Hospital, Mercy Hospital in Portland, and MaineGeneral in Augusta.

“We were blown away with the positive response we received this winter,” says Lee Auto Malls Chairman Adam Lee. “Hospital workers really appreciated the gesture, and as cases surged in hospitals over the summer, it made us think it would be a good moment to again show our support for the staff on the frontlines.”

We will be working with local area restaurants including Sam’s Italian, Rivalries in Falmouth, Cappza’s Pizza in Augusta, and many more, to provide lunch and a well-deserved break throughout the month.

This effort is part of Lee Auto Malls’ year-long campaign to support and improve the lives of Mainers during the pandemic. Past efforts have also focused on teachers, farmers, and students, as well as support for the Good Shepherd Food Bank that contributed 30,000 meals to Mainers in need.
